OS, focusing on "Cloud based" storage, is to be launched through Three, the network provider has revealed.
The Samsung Chromebook is set to land sporting a 12.1-inch display and is supported by an Intel Atom processor. It boasts both WiFi and 3G connectivity options and has a full-sized keyboard and trackpad whilst touting 2 USB ports and a HD webcam. Three has announced that it will offer the Chromebook sometime in June, with the device also to be made available on Amazon from June 15th. Chromebooks are web-based devices that run Google's new Chrome OS, utilising cloud-based storage that leaves the laptops requiring less internal memory storage. The "cloud" acts as your hard drive; saving your files to the ether. All applications, including GoogleDocs and a vast variety of Chrome applications also run directly through the connected browser.
